Description

Welcome to Eriksdal School's adapted primary school!
Knowledge Security Joy

Eriksdal School is a F-9 school in Södermalm, close to both the city's pulse and scenic areas.

The school is bustling with life with about 1000 students in grades F-9, of which about 60 students attend the adapted primary school. We have spacious and functional premises, a fantastic schoolyard with access to an artificial grass pitch, an ice rink, and Eriksdalsbadet in our vicinity.

Eriksdal School's adapted primary school is an operation for students with intellectual disabilities, often in combination with additional disabilities (e.g., ASD, physical movement disabilities, ADHD). Our premises are adapted to accommodate students in all need groups.

Currently, students in Eriksdal School's adapted primary school are divided into 10 classes. Students study subjects and/or subject areas according to the curriculum for adapted primary school. Many students require their own educator by their side throughout the day, both at school and during leisure time. Students are taught both individually and in groups. We base our teaching on clarifying pedagogy along with other evidence-based methods to provide our students with the most favorable conditions for learning and development. The target group places high demands on pedagogical skill.

About 50 staff members with various backgrounds, skills, and experiences work at Eriksdal School's adapted primary school. We work in teams with the student's best interests always in focus.

The school management at Eriksdal School consists of a principal, five deputy principals, and an administrative manager. If you want to know more about us, you can find more information on our website http://eriksdalsskolan.stockholm.se (http://eriksdalsskolan.stockholm.se) and through the school's Instagram: eriksdalsskolans_medier
